"Build My MLM Business?" OK. I'll Bet You Aren't Doing This!

Don't waste your time on this article if you're an MLM junkie, if you hop from program to program, if you're always lured by pre-launches and exciting new products no one else has ever heard of.

If you understand the value of stability and security in network marketing, then this plan is for you.

I have been observing and/or building MLM businesses since 1977. Everything I've seen in all those years can be reduced to one bottom-line business-building success principle. If YOUR plan does not follow this principle, then you will never build a dependable paycheck that you can retire on. Here is the principle:

You must get yourself in the position where people are calling you, asking to join your network marketing business.

So long as you are pursuing people, you will always struggle. And it will be impossible for many of your recruits to build anything worthwhile. As quickly as possible, you must change the dynamic so that people pursue you. When you have done that, your business will build easily, and it will also be much easier for your people to build.

Three things will change your world from you chasing them to them chasing you:

1. Your name develops a high recognition factor.

2. Prospects see you as a VERY high credibility MLM leader.

3. Prospects bond with you on a personal level before you ever talk with them, AND they believe you can help successfully build a multi-level marketing business.

How do you achieve this?

Step One is all we'll talk about today:

Have your own website, designed to build relationships. A company website may be useful as part of your plan, but it will not build your relationships.

Use your website to deliver a steady stream of useful information to your prospects. In this useful information, embed a steady stream of bits of your personality.

A blog is perfect for Step One. You need your own domain name and your own web space. I suggest you use a WordPress blog, because it's so much more flexible than the other platforms I've seen.

You start by posting observations, experiences, & ideas. You can do this quickly & easily, even if you've never written anything before. Just listen to my 60-minute audio file "Become an MLM Prospect-Magnet".

Then start your blog. As you do it, you'll gain experience, and you'll get better. Your true voice will start to appear, and that is the voice your prospects want to hear, the one they will bond with. So long as you are honest and upfront and helpful at all times, more and more people will want to join you in your business, even before they know what business it is.

In MLM, people join people, not companies. To have huge long-term success, you need to become an MLM rock star. Make yourself one of those key people the market seeks out in order to be part of your team. That is when MLM gets easy.

How To Make Money From Your Website For Free

Setting up a website can be a time consuming process if you are on a tight budget. You have to learn how to write the proper code, how to create and add your own graphics and then you have to spend even more time writing the content that will make it a place not only that visitors will want to visit, but will be impressed enough so that they will want to return, time and time again. Sound like a tall order and it is. Wouldn't it be nice if after expending all that time and effort you could turn your hard work into a profitable online business and earn some money from your website.

Well, to do that you're going to have to monetise your website. Let's look at a few ways of doing that for free, so even if you are on the tightest of budgets, you can still earn some respectable amounts of money for your troubles.

The first and probably the most important and lucrative way of earning money from your website is by using it to promote affiliate products that are relevant to the theme of your website. It's a fairly simple procedure to put up a "products" page where you can place your affiliate links and write some sales copy for each item you are promoting.

Before you can do that, of course, you'll need to be signed up to one or more affiliate programs.

So in keeping with the "make money from your website for free" theme, you really want to sign up with affiliate programs that are free to join. The top contender in that category has to be Clickbank. This has been around for a lot of years and has a solid reputation. Most affiliate marketers swear by Clickbank and it makes a lot of marketers a lot of money.

So Clickbank should be top of your list.

Once you join up, you have access to a whole marketplace of affiliate products that you can promote on your website. You should choose the products that fit in with your own niche, or theme of your site. In other words, if your website is all about dogs, you should find products relating to dogs. For example, there are lots of ebooks on how to train dogs, general ebooks about dogs and specific books about certain breeds. Those are the kinds of things you could promote to earn you some money.

For each product, Clickbank gives you a link to the seller's homepage. That's where you can get a lot information you can use to create your own sales copy for that item. You could even copy the cover of the ebook and use that as an eye-catching graphic. You also get what is called a "hoplink", which is your own affiliate link to that product. So when a visitor to your products page clicks your link to the vendor's sales page and subsequently buys the product, your hoplink is tracked y Clickbank and you get paid the commission for driving that customer to the vendor's site.

Clickbank then pays its affiliates twice monthly by cheque for all the sales they have accumulated over the previous two week period. That can add up to some serious money if done properly.

Another good affiliate site is PayDotCom. It operates in a similar way to clickbank, where you create your own affiliate link to products taken from their marketplace. The difference here is that PayDotCom pays their affiliates via PayPal, which may appeal to a wider group.

Another way of earning an income from your site is by having your own product to sell. This has distinctive advantages over affiliate marketing in that you get to keep one hundred percent of the profits. Your product can be anything that you can realistically sell to an huge internet marketplace who are willing to pull out their credit cards when they see something they want, need or desire.

So you could produce your own ebook which can be on a huge range of topics relating to your niche, from information books, manuals, "how to" books or even short stories right up to full blown novels. It's up to you to produce whatever you believe there is a market for and that will make money. You could also sell software that you have written, as long as you are the owner of that data. The beauty of selling a digital product like an ebook or software is that there is no shipping involved, so a buyer doen't have to spend any more money than the price of the product. A customer is directed to a download page once they have paid for the item and in minutes, they have the product they have purchased right there in front of them.

Other saleable items might include music CDs, if you are a musician or a member of a band that wants to promote your songs via your own website. The list of items you can sell online is limited only by your own knowledge, skill and imagination.

The only thing that you should be very much aware of is that you can't sell something that you don't own the rights to or can sell under licence from the owner. You don't want to end up being closed down for breeching copyright laws.

Yet another way of earning money from your website is by using a pay per click program like Google adsense. This is another free to join program where you are given a piece of html code by Google that you place on your website's pages. This code generates a block of small lineage ads, the size of which is chosen by you. Google uses an algorithm which works out, via your site's keywords, what niche your site fits into. It then produces ads that are relevant to that niche. Once they are displayed on your website's pages, curious visitors will click on them and be taken to the homepage of the advertiser and you get paid on a sliding scale for each time an ad is clicked.

There are pros and cons to adsense and programs like it.

The pros are obvious. You get paid for every time an ad is clicked by a visitor to your site. The more visitors you can attract, the more potential clicks you will generate and the more money you will earn. The amount of money you earn depends on Google and a secret algorithm they use to determine the rate of pay per click. It could be anything from a few cents to a dollar or more per click, depending on how much money the advertiser is paying and a lot of other factors known only to Google.

The cons are a little less obvious. The main one is that once a visitor to your site clicks an ad, they are taken away from your site and may not come back. So while you may have earned a few cents from the click, you may have potentially lost some dollars by not making an affiliate sale. Another downside to adsense is that you can be penalised if certain parties repeatedly click on your ads. That includes you, your family members and friends who want to "help you out".

The penalty is strict, harsh and final.

Google will simply close your account and withhold any money you may have earned up to that point. Worse, is that it's very difficult, if not impossible to get it back.

So there we have some free ways of earning money from your website. As long as you are generating enough traffic to your site, you stand a good chance that a fair proportion of those visitors will click on your links or ads and earn you some money to a greater or lesser degree, depending on how much the products they are clicking on sell for and how much commission you will receive, or in the case of pay per click, how much money each click is worth. The bottom line is that when the paycheque drops through your letterbox, or your PayPal account is credited with your commission, you'll know all your hard work has been worth it.

3 Ways To Make Money Online Without Spending A Dime

I hope this message finds you and your online business in good health.

How is your online empire doing? Are you getting the instant, automated

flow of commissions that a lot of products promise to deliver?

Can you even remember what you learned from any of the ebooks you bought?

If you're like most people, you haven't made a dime online (yet).

Here Are 3 Ways To Make Money Online Without Spending A Dime

The First Way: Article Marketing, or The Bum Marketing Method.

It’s called the bum marketing method because even a homeless person with no money can make money doing this. It’s a free email course that tells you exactly how to make money writing articles. The link is below, but before you go to that site, remember this:

There’s no need to pay money to join a forum like Wealthy Affiliates. You can get the same kind of valuable feedback from the Warrior Forum.

Here’s how this works, in a nutshell.

  • You write articles, and lots of them (at least 5 a day)
  • The articles you write are based on LOW-competition keywords
  • You submit these articles to article directories
  • Your keyword rich articles get top ranking in the search engines
  • This means your articles get a lot of page views
  • You make money when people read your article and click your affiliate link
  • If you write good articles with unique content, your articles can get picked up by ezine owners and they publish your article in their ezine
  • Your article remains unchanged when its published, therefore your affiliate
link is the same, too, and that’s how your article can have a viral effect This may sound easy, but isn’t at first. Keyword research and writing articles can be a pain in the butt, and there’s no immediate gratification to this, either. Plus, there’s a learning curve on how to deal with the article directory sites and article submission issues.

But it absolutely does work.

Use this method to get Page Rank for your site, to build your list, or to make sales.

Do a search for the free bum marketing method

The Second Way Promoting affiliate programs like 7 Dollar offers and Clickbank Products

via Traffic Exchanges, forums, email signatures, classified ads sites like

Craigs List, US Free Ads, and about 100 other good ones.

7 dollar Offers give you 100% commissions every time you

make a sale and it pays directly into your PayPal account.

These are some 7 Dollar offers that are good products

with sales pages that that convert REALLY well.

Crush Your Job- It's $5.00 and one of the

highest converting 7 Dollar Offers out there.

Lazy Man's Paycheck- It's $7.00 and converts well, too

And my personal favorite, The IM Toolkit... J

It's $7.00, too (should be $97.00) and that sales

page converts almost as well as the other 2.

Of the 3 products, The IM Toolkit outperforms the

others when it comes to over-delivering on value

http://yourimtoolkit.com

OK so how do you promote these products?

How do you create your affiliate link?

OK, here's how it works with this, and all other 7 dollar offers that use this method:

Domain name of product's website (example: http://yourimtoolkit.com)

PLUS /?e=

PLUS your paypal email address

OR

Domain name= Your IM Toolkit

PLUS /?e=

PLUS Paypal email address= danielmcgonagle@yahoo.com

Now, put them all together to get

http://yourimtoolkit.com/?e=danielmcgonagle@yahoo.com

That is my affiliate link for the IM Toolkit.

There is immediate gratification when you promote 7 Dollar offers because they pay Instantly. Now that you know how to create your affiliate links, promote those affiliate links using easy methods like Traffic Exchanges. Start surfing those traffic exchanges at night when you're too tired to do anything constructive like write articles, and watch the sales pop in once in a while.

I don't use Traffic Exchanges because it's not the most targeted traffic, but if you're watching TV or something, start clicking away for an hour and it could be worth your while. I know marketers that pay their children $5.00/hour to click on websites to earn credits. This is not the best form of advertising, but it will work for you eventually,

It's just a number's game

Please remember, the Second Way promote 7 Dollar Offers and Clickbank products.

We already covered the 7 Dollar Offers, so let’s move on to Clickbank

Go to Clickbank and look for products you're interested in promoting and analyze the sales page. If the affiliate program pays at least 50% commission and the sales page is good, then I suggest you promote that product.

When you choose a product with a really good sales page, you'll be rewarded that because that sales page will be doing the work for you. Clickbank doesn’t pay right away, though. You’ll have to wait at least 30-60 days to get paid

Most marketers tell you to promote the highest converting sales pages when

choosing an affiliate program to promote but I think you should find the

highest converting sales pages for GOOD products that you believe in

If you believe in what you're promoting, you'll do well...

I hope that making a few sales gives you the motivation to keep moving forward with your online business. Sometimes, you have to prove it to your spouse, your parents,

and to yourself that money can actually be made from this "making money online thing".

The best way to use traffics exchanges, however, is to promote squeeze pages to continue building your list. But making sales can change your whole mindset around. A little motivation will go a long way.

Promoting affiliate products via free methods like traffic exchanges is easy money

but not the best way to earn an income online, but it serves the purpose of showing

you that making money online is NOT for the select few.

The Third way-

The Online Business Morgue Is Busting

There are millions and millions of online businesses. Most of them spend more than they make and many close down with tired and frustrated online marketing entrepreneurs giving up and going back to their day jobs.

You don't hear about the failures. The reason for that is very simple. Your email box is filled with promises of fantastic riches waiting for you if you just buy into some dream marketing business or how to start an online business.

Let me say this unequivocally. Most are pipe dreams, too complicated, too difficult and many are simply scams with regurgitated information.

Unfortunately nobody is going to spend money emailing you the perils and frustrations in becoming an internet marketing millionaire.

Why is starting up an online business and making it successful so difficult? Here are just 5 major reasons...

First of all: COMPETITION

There are probably hundreds of thousands of folks out there doing the exact same thing. All of them want to get to page one of Google be it through a well optimized website or by using Google Adwords to get traffic. Don't forget - this isn't a retail store cozying up to a huge anchor store in a shopping mall with just several competitors around the corner. You've got hundreds of thousands of internet sites that are better built, with possibly cheaper products and that may happen to already have brand recognition.

Second: ADVERTISING

The cost of advertising your products can ruin you fast if you don't know what you're doing. CPC (cost per click) advertising can add up big time, and if your ROI (return on investment) is low, you'll be crying the blues. You have to convert those clicks into sales. In order to do that, you need to understand how your web site design, navigation, ease of use, price points, guarantees, sales page and trust-factor all affect the outcome of a sale. If the pieces of the puzzle aren't put together in just the right way - you'll be out of the game before you know it.

Third: PRODUCT SELECTION

Finding the right product to sell is a hit and miss process. You basically have to experiment. Things you're absolutely sure will sell - don't. Things you would never buy - sell like crazy. It is best not to rely on your personal tastes. This means you have to do research and test. For most new internet marketers this can be a very exhausting and costly exercise. For the most part it can drain you and leave in a cursed mood if you don't use the right strategies and shortcuts.

Fourth: LACK OF KNOWLEDGE

Nobody should get into the internet business if they aren't prepared to learn some basic survival skills. These include: simple website design, basic html code, copywriting, where to advertise, keyword analysis, search engine optimization etc. For many, just these few examples is enough of a deterrent. That being said, you'll be surprised at what you can do if you are determined and set your mind to it. For those of you who are so inclined, you're half way there!

Fifth: ORIGINALITY

There are many unique sites. Those that make it big all have one thing in common."THE STICKY FACTOR." This is the ingredient that keeps people coming back for more. ie: youtube, myspace, facebook etc. The likelyhood of attaining such remarkable notoriety is small indeed. But it is possible within smaller niche markets. How do you do it? Again, it involves a mixture of all the elements above and then some.

For those of you looking for a quick buck - let me tell you THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH.

It doesn't exist!

Even the scam artists work like dogs to feverishly come up with devious plans, setting up websites, re-writing and reselling the reseller's information.

So what can you do to get into the game?

Above all, be informed! You will need to learn a fair amount.

If you buy several e-books and find that they are misleading or contain information that goes nowhere and doesn't resolve your problems - give them back!

Many e-books are legitimate and offer tremendous information and value. The benefit, is that you'll learn a lot of the shortcuts as well as what NOT TO DO! But to succeed in the online internet business, you'll simply have to accept the fact that there are many dead-ends...turn around and try something else.

How to Evaluate a Sales Page

If you are an affiliate looking to promote a product it is very important you are not wasting your time and money on a poor quality product or poorly promoted offer. One key factor in this is the sale letter the merchant provides.

What is a 'Sales Letter' Definition:The tool that a direct marketer uses to turn a prospect into a buyer.

So when we look at evaluating a sales page there are two element.

The Offer
what they are selling at a justified price and this is broken down into 4 parts. Product, price, bonuses and guarantee.

The Copy
This is everything that surrounds the offer.

A strong offer is vital we can fix a weak offer by adding our own bonuses but thats much more expensive than fixing weak copy. With weak copy you can setup your own pre sale page and promote the strong offer that has great value and bonuses.

So now we need to Analyze Quality of the Offer:
Bonuses

* Are there bonuses (added value) included?

* If there are bonuses do they have a value associated with them? (eg.worth $47.97)

* Is there a Graphic of the bonus? ( people like to see what they are buying even if it is a downloadable product)

Product

* Is there a graphic of the product?

* Is there a value associated with the product that is higher than the price?(eg.was $299 now $97 limited time only)

* Is there a specific value to the product?(eg.$29.95 instead of $30)

* Is there an impending event, limited time offer or other call to action used?

* Is there a risk free guarantee?

So now we need to Analyze Quality of the Copy:

* Does the headline start off with benifits to the customer?

* Questions are often better sales converters than statements. Does the sales letter contain questions?

* Headlines in quotes are more powerful (even when no one is quoted). Is the headline in quotes?
* Is the sales letter broken up with subheadings?

* Do the subheadings expand or state additional benefits or describe key features?

* Longer sales letters generally convert better. Is the sales letter long?

* Does the sales letter contain benefit bullet points?

* Does the sales letter contain feature bullet points?

* Does the sales letter contain testimonials "social proof"?

* A PS/PPS/etc are some of the most read sections. Does the sales letter contain a postscript with hot benefits?

Let's look at the Buying Process:

* Is the purchase price at least half-way through the letter?

* Is there a summary of the offer and benefits just before the price?

* Are there buy buttons located in several different places in the letter?

* Is it really obvious where the cusomter should click to purchase?

Has this sales letter got Confidence Builders:

* Does the sales letter contain conversion enhancers such as a BBB logo?

* Or a HackerSafe Logo?

* Or a Icop Logo?

* Are the credit card and other processor logos located near the order button?

In all the above sections we are looking to get a yes to as many of the questions as posible. Which should produce a quality sales letter that converts to more buyers of the offer.

Lets look at some Negative Factors to take into account:

* Is there an email squeeze, either on the letter or as a pop-over box?(eg.entering your name email address for newsletter subscription)

* Choices prior to purchase delay purchases. Is there an up-sell or other version selection prior to purchase?

* The sales letter should do nothing but sell one product. Are there "traffic bleeds" from another sales letter?

* Is the letter garish in choice of color or visual features (such as blinking text)?

* Does the sales letter contain an affiliate link?

You are not going to find a perfect sales letter but if you can find one with a good product, quality copy, and value for money bonuses, with few negatives your have a very good chance of converting that traffic you send to it into buyers.

Six Surefire Ways To Increase Your Website's Traffic

The one hard and fast rule in generating any kind of income for your website is very simple. You must generate a steady flow of website traffic to your site. If no one ever visits your website, then there is very little chance of ever possibly generating any income. This is just common sense.

Internet. Business. Profit. What do you need to fully integrate all of these words into a successful sentence describing a successful website? You will need at least one more word. And that word is Traffic. Every article you will find about making your site or company successful would always include the importance of generating traffic because without traffic your website will never be successful online.

Traffic is absolutely the most essential thing to maintaining a successful internet based business (aside from ensuring that you have a great product to sell). Generating a steady traffic flow is an absolute necessity to your websites health and longevity.

If you don't have a website yet, just be advised that once you're finished making the site that your work doesn't stop there. You must then get started on generating traffic to your new site. If you already have a website you may want to do more research into getting more traffic. If you are involved in a very competitive business area then you should always be a step ahead of your competition. Working on increasing the traffic flow to your website should have been done already.

Timing is essential and generating traffic should always be on your mind concerning your website. Ever wonder how those big websites drive traffic to their site? Most of them are spending tons of money to drive the traffic to their sites by investing in multiple advertising campaigns and other types of marketing.

You don't have to follow their lead because you probably don't have their resources but there are many ways to generate low cost website traffic without having to lose your shirt over it. To help you out in generating more traffic for your site, I have listed six surefire ways to increase your traffic starting right now.

1) Link Exchange

When exchanging links with other sites, both of you will benefit from the efforts to further enhance your websites traffic. This is a proven method, although it is very time consuming. Many webmasters are willing to exchange links with other websites so that they could produce more public awareness about their sites. The more links traded with more sites the more traffic could be expected.

Keep in mind, a major prerequisite in exchanging links with other websites is having the same niche, or content area as the site you are swapping links with. The swapping sites should share a common subject area providing service and information that interests your targeted traffic on both sites of the link.

Exchanging links with other websites also boosts your chances of getting a higher page rank in the search engine results. It is common knowledge that most search engines rank sites that have many inbound (related) links higher than those that have only a few links. With a good ranking position in the search engines, you will generate more traffic in your website as well.

I will add one important aside to the link exchange process. As I have said before, this can be very time consuming. Also, you want to link with only quality sites - not with every site you can find that is in no way related to your websites topic area - and never with link farms! So, link exchanging is a good method to use - if you do it wisely.

2) Invest in good advertising

Google Adwords and Yahoo both provide great advertising methods that are both truly popular and assures great traffic. Using this method will cost you some money, however. Many people shy away from spending money to increase their overall traffic.

3) Use proper keywords or keyword phrases

When visitors are looking for something online they almost always go to the search engines. What do they do when they get there? They enter a term into the search engine - this is what they are looking for, or want to find more information about. (These are called keywords). Search engines take these keywords, look for those items that the user typed into the search engine and then show the user the results page. Having the right keyword or keyword phrases on your site is the biggest requirement in ranking in high in those search engine results.

4) Write and Submit Articles

One good way to get more traffic to your website is by writing articles that are themed along with the niche of your site. Write articles about an area you have expertise in so that visitors will learn from your knowledge and will be eager to go to your site to learn more. If you sell computer parts write press releases and articles about computer parts. If you sell car parts write press releases and articles about cars and car parts. You get the idea.

There are a lot of e-zine directories on the internet that provide free space for your articles to be distributed. If you want to save money write the articles yourself. If you don't want to do it yourself there are many freelance writers out there who are willing to write for you for a small fee. After you've written your articles then you need to submit them to those article directories - you can find everywhere on the internet.

Tip: include a short biography / resource box at the end of your article that links the article directory to your site. Write a little information about yourself and your site.

5) Create a Newsletter

Offer a newsletter on your website about the topic of your website. This is a great way to widen your public awareness and build an opt-in list of visitors that regularly visit your website. It also builds a rapport with your customers and gives you more opportunity to build a relationship with your visitors.

Lastly,

6) Join forums, create online communities

This does require your time. Share your opinions and knowledge with others on the forum. As your reputation builds on the forum you also build the reputation of your website. Not only do you share your knowledge and expertise but you also get free advertising when you go to forums that have the same subject or niche as your site.

Find a market and share your expertise and your credibility will grow. Once you create a good foundation for you and your site, people will learn to trust you and your site and will probably pass your information on to many other people who are also interested in that particular topic. Your traffic will certainly increase as a result.

Each of the six methods discussed above will help drive more traffic to your site over time. Learn all you can about the methods listed above, start doing as many of them as you can with your website right now and you will soon have a better traffic flow to your website. All it takes is a bit of effort and your own investment of time to get the traffic generation process started to your website.

When you are doing affiliate marketing, most of the affiliate programs will provides you with all the advertising materials that will help you in promoting the product better. Some of the materials that they will provide can be articles, pre written emails, solo ads copy and many more. Can you imagine if there are 1000 affiliates using the same materials?

You will not be able to stand out from the rest of the affiliates if you are going to just cut and paste the articles or email and send it to your customers. The next thing that you can do is to add in your own personality and style to your business.

Target Marketing - Web Promotion to Reach Your Target Market

With the tremendous increase in the competition amongst the websites, the promotion of your website has become very important. In the present era of close competition no website can survive without proper promotion. Promoting your website is important to get web traffic. The increase in web traffic is important for all of the websites. The reason behind is that no website can survive in the online business world without getting visitors. This is the reason that most of the websites spend more on their promotion. Many techniques are used for promoting the websites online.

The point which is important to note here is that it is not enough to get web traffic. The important thing is to get targeted web traffic. There will be no effect of increase in web traffic on the volume of your business until and unless you reach the market you have targeted. The increase in the volume of business can only result form reaching your target market. Your potential customer should be made to visit your website as a result of your web site promotion efforts. If this happens there are chances of getting more business.

The websites have to pay close attention towards this fact. It is not enough to get web traffic but you need to ensure that you get quality web traffic. This is the point which will make all the difference. The website promoters and marketers use different tools to promote their websites. In the close competition in the online world, it is a must that you make all the efforts in the right direction. Only then your website will give you good return.

Website Marketing Strategy - How to Get More Website Traffic and More One Way Links

Whether you're new to website marketing or a veteran, you've probably struggled to find a website marketing strategy that really works. As a website designer and promoter, I have found no better way to get more website traffic than by writing articles and submitting them to article marketing websites.

There are two very good reasons to write and submit articles.

1. Articles can be written with exactly the keywords you want to target such as website marketing strategy, get more website traffic, or one way links. Whatever it is you are trying to sell or promote on your website, you can write short articles that will pull loads of new traffic to your website.

2. Once you've written your article, you get to include a paragraph at the end which has up to 3 one way links pointing back to your website. And we all know how much search engines love one way links from articles. When you get to the end of this article you'll see how I do it.

So, how do you start writing articles? First thing you want to do is some keyword research. Find out what keywords relate to your site and what keywords have less competition than the top few. I like to pick out a few phrases to make my title and then write my article around those keyword phrases. Look at my title in this article and see if you can spot my keyword phrases.

After you've written your article, you can put up to 3 links pointing back to your website in the authors resource box. It's not really a box, but that's what they call it. It's more like the last paragraph of your article. I like to make my resource box flow naturally with my article and have an invitation to click-thru and visit my site. Using articles as a website marketing strategy has definitely increased traffic to my websites.

Internet Marketing Newbies' Problems

Earning money has been one of the major objectives of generations since time immemorial. The modern times have some innovative modes of earning your living.

Online business is one such trend that's catching up fast and fascinating the people from every strata of society. Crossing international boundaries, people are realizing the potential of Internet as a money-spinner. But as with every other business, you need to get your basics right and acquire the requisite tools to succeed in online business. And here, you require a teaching source to assist you in minimizing your research time and maximizing your earnings.

When you are starting your online adventure, you find many obstacles and difficulties which can make you feel frustrated and depressed.

The Internet Marketing newbies' problems are several, a newbie is a kind of student and has to learn from the right teacher. As a newbie, you have to know who to trust and it is really difficult to know it due to the high amount of scam and crap out there.

If you trust someone who misinforms you and gives you useless information, then you are wasting time and money. Then when you realize that you are in the wrong path, you have to unlearn all those things you have learnt previously and start from the scratch.

Another problem is that many Internet newbies are overwhelmed, they have a lot of stuff and want even more, because they like to download. Then they don't know what to do with all this stuff, they don't know how to use it and get confused and frustrated and begin to think that it is not for them, that it is better if they give up.

Many people are struggling trying to make money online, but most of them don't know what is traffic generation, adsense, PPC, squeeze page, opt in list, Affiliate Programs, how to create a product to sell, how to promote. They don't know what is the meaning of Internet Marketing. They read eBooks, listen to audios and watch videos, but many times they don't know what are the things the author is talking about.

And another problem is they don't know what they want, neither what to do.

If you don't know where and how to start, you'll be having hard times. When you are without direction, you achieve nothing.

The solution to all these problems is to build a detailed Business Plan and keep focused on it. Your business plan is a packaged plan that covers everything for running a business.

Build it keeping in mind the following:

1. What is your goal

2. What is your niche

3. What is your budget

4. How many hours are you going to dedicate to your Internet business.

5. The methods you'll use to get customers

6. How to expand your business

7. Who are your competitors and how to compete against them

8. What will be your annual profit

9. How to implement your business plan

10. What is your plan B, just in case your plan A doesn't work

Your success depends on a Plus condition of mind and body, on power of work, on courage, on the union of thought with nature, on yourself. The game requires coolness, right reasoning, promptness, and patience in the players. It is a progressive process and it takes time to be successful.

You have to study, learn and apply, because if you don't apply what you learn, you'll never achieve your goal.

If you understand this, then you'll be a successful Internet Marketer.

Paid Blogging - The New Bum Marketing Method

Ahhhhh! The secret's out (with this article)

Paid blogging is going to be VERY popular soon.

...But is it another internet marketing fad, trend, or flash-in-the-pan?

Does it have sustenance?

Here are the Pros and Cons for Paid Blogging

I like to start with the cons then leave with you with the PROs because this is going to be a big deal soon and like it or not, paid blogging will be around for a while.

The cons are that some paid blogging sites require that you have a blog for a certain period of time before you're allowed to post and get paid for your blog posts. There are some advertisers paying for blog posts who require that your blog have a certain PR (page rank) before you qualify to post for them.

And the last negative thing I can think of is that you have to set up your own blogs. That's not a negative really, but this is where most people will stall, fail, and drop the whole idea of following through with this guaranteed income producer.

How does paid blogging relate to the bum marketing method?

Well, paid blogging, generally speaking, won't give you a residual income like the article writing efforts that the bum marketing method employs. You see, with bum marketing, once you write your articles, they're out in cyberspace forever, and you can make affiliate commissions off those articles.

Now, paid blogging is different because you don't make any affiliate commissions from your posts.

On the other hand, once your blog post is accepted you're guaranteed to get paid for it.

I don't claim to be the best article writer, but I do know that it's frustrating to spend a lot of time writing an article and to finally get it accepted, but then have nothing to show for all that work.

At least with paid blogging you get something out of it every time.

Here's the kicker!!! This is what make s it so great...

Thr more you post the more traffic and higher PR (Page Rank) your post gets.

That means you qualify for the higher paying blog posts. Sometime peopleare paying $1,000.00 for a blog post. Whew! Imagine that, huh?

Well, that's another way that paid blogging is similar to the bum marketing method. Both methods require a little bit of determination and writing and it pays off in the long run.

You just have to stick with it long enough to make it work for you. Again, with paid blogging, you get paid as soon as your blog post has been accepted, therefore the motivation factor is already built in and taken care of.

There are people out there that don't like to write, but they shouldn't be discouraged...

Most blogs are not candidates for the pulitzer prize these days and if you can write down your thoughts in a coherent manner, you'll do fine with paid blogging

Traffic Generation Tips - How To Generate Traffic With Articles Using Squidoo

There are many ways of generating traffic with articles but the latest strategy involves using a website called Squidoo which has been attracting attention recently as it can easily be used to achieve top rankings for competitive keywords in a variety of niche markets.

Once you have set up your free account you will be able to create your own lens (web page) which will be hosted on their website. One reason why so many people are using it is that you can include affiliates links on your lens and you can start generating profits even if you don't have your own domain and hosting account.

The main benefit of using Squidoo is that its search engine friendly so if you create keyword rich quality content you will rank on the first page of the search engine results pages even for competitive keywords. This is why its become so popular because you can generate free traffic for your affiliate links or your own website.

To set up your own lens you first need to decide which market you want to target and then find a suitable product which you can promote as an affiliate. For best results you also need to find a few long tail keyword phrases that have less competition as it will be far easier and quicker to achieve top rankings (and the traffic will be more responsive).

Then you need to create your lens and you can do this by adding relevant modules. The first module is the introduction which is automatically included on every lens that you create. Then you can choose from a variety of different options available.

As Squidoo is a social networking website its best to add interactive features to your lens and the most popular is the poll module which is very useful for finding out what your target market thinks and wants. You can then add write modules to your lens which you can use to insert quality content on your page. So the format should be the introduction followed by a poll and then a few articles.

There are many other modules which you can add to spice up your lens such as related products from Amazon or Ebay and you will receive 50% commission for any sales that you generate. Every lens automatically has Google Adsense ads displayed on it and you will also share the profits from this as well.

You can also include a list of useful links and if you choose the Plexo option it will allow visitors to vote for which link is the most relevant with the best listed at the top (this makes your lens more interactive and keeps your visitors interested for longer). There is also an RSS module which you can use to put fresh content on your page.

Other features include adding a guest book module to your lens which allows other members to comment on your page and you can also include videos by using the You Tube module. There is also a way to put an opt in form on your lens so that visitors can subscribe directly from your page (you will need to search for the video that explains how to do this).

If you create dozens of lenses in many different niche markets using long tail keywords you will find it much easier to achieve top rankings. As well as profiting from the features on your lens you can also include links to any products that you have created or are promoting as an affiliate.

With so many different target markets available its impossible to be an expert in them all, but you can solve this problem by using PLR articles and breaking up the content over several related lenses. This allows you to quickly and easily profit from smaller niche markets even if you have limited knowledge of the subject matter.

If you need some private label articles which you can use to generate traffic with Squidoo just visit this website: http://www.marketingoasis.com/private-label-articles/

Stop Suffering... And Start Partnering For Massive Success

Marketing information over the Internet can be a lonely, challenging, and even frustrating experience... especially if you are not familiar with all the steps of the process.

But there's a simple solution. Work together with partners.

If you are not an excellent writer, but have knowledge and core expertise to share in your topic or subject area, you could partner with a recognized writer and enter into a co-authoring arrangement. This would also work if you join forces with another writer to create a joint project which spans areas each of you are experts in.

There are some key points to consider and keep in mind while you work on co-authorship projects or joint ventures where each partner handles a different aspect of the project.

Find partners with complementary skills

Look for folks who are good at things you either don't know or don't want to do. Ideally, the strengths of your team should complement your own - and make up for any weakness the collective group might have.

If you are an excellent software developer, but have no clue about writing great sales copy or marketing your product, you could team up with a copywriter and marketing expert. You could each share a third of the profits.

While at first blush this might seem unfair, always remember this - it is better to own 5% of a gold mine rather than 100% of a gold nugget!

Hammer out details of the joint venture

Clearly spell out tasks and responsibilities of each member in your team. Neglecting this important step can cause a lot of heartbreak and frustration down the line.

In addition to tasks and actions, also list out time frames within which the individual components need to be completed, and detail the profit sharing formula you agree to accept. Later on, when your product goes on to break records in sales, you don't want your moment of joy and glory to be marred by unpleasant disputes with your partners who made it all possible.

Designate a Project Leader

Nowhere is this more important than in online networking projects where the team members may be anywhere in the world, never meet face to face to review progress and might have completely different work ethics, standards and attitudes.

The role of the project leader would be to co-ordinate activities among members, review and monitor progress, and get everyone moving together to get the project to fruition.

Follow through to close - and set up follow ups

Make sure the joint project gets completed on schedule - and everyone of your partners delivers on his or her side of the bargain. Once your project is finished, get closure by thanking and appreciating your team members' contributions.

If all went well, and you are inclined to organize another follow up project, this is the best time to sound out your partners and see if they are interested. A winning team could be one of your biggest assets as an infopreneur, allowing you the flexibility and freedom to leverage everyone's strongest skills and reap rich rewards.

Why Building a List is Important to your Online Business Part II

A third is to slowly build a list of people that have expressed an interest in what you have to offer, but are not yet ready to buy. However, you can keep in touch, and when they are ready, then your product is there in front of them. They have already seen your product about seven times, and might now be ready to buy.

That's why building a list is so important. You can keep in touch with people who have visited your site rather than allowing them to leave and never return. This is important if you are selling products since it has been established that most sales have been made after seven to eight exposures to a product. That's how TV advertising works: enough exposure and then you feel like purchasing a product because you think that you know it.

If you feel familiar with a product, you are more likely to purchase it than one that is new to you. Constant exposure makes you familiar with it. If you expose your list to your product enough times, the time will come that want to buy such a product, and they will be more likely to purchase yours due to their awareness and familiarity with it. However, that is not the only reason.

Another reason for building a list is that it is not only valuable to you but to other people. If you want to get involved in joint ventures, for example, a list is good for bargaining with. Joint ventures are one of the most productive ways of making money, and if fact probably, THE most productive way to make money online. If you have a good list that is focused on your niche, then you are in a good position to enter into a joint venture whereby you sell another's product for a cut of the sale, and they will also do the same for you.

Without a list you have nothing but the traffic that you have at this moment. Once they leave your website they are gone forever. With a list, that is only the beginning, not the end of their involvement with your website, and you can contact them whenever you want to and whenever you have a special offer to make or a new product to sell.

Therefore, if you are serious about building an online business you should keep in mind that your prospective customers will likely need to see your product several times before being conditioned to purchase it. How do you intend to achieve that? That is the question that was considered by the first person who invented the opt-in page. We all know what the answer was.

So learn from history. If a strategy has developed over time in internet marketing history, it was developed for a reason. We now know that list building works, and that is why list building is important to your online business. Fail to build a list and you will more than likely fail in your quest to make money.

The Online Marketing Process Simplified

So many people who get involved with home based internet business opportunities and internet marketing become subject to information overload and become paralyzed and unable to get into action. The fact is there is a ton of information about marketing on the internet and to a new marketer it can be very intimidating and make one uneasy as it is easy to lose track of what it is you are exactly trying to do. The end goal in most cases is to make money through selling products or services. There are many things that determine how this happens and this is where a lot of new marketers can get confused. In this article I am going to simplify the online marketing process and try to give you a better understanding of the big picture.

As we have already stated, the end goal of getting involved in a home based internet business opportunity or internet marketing is to make money via the internet by selling products or services. These products and services get sold from a website. Regardless if you are selling your own product or someone else's product, to make sales and money, you are going to need to get targeted prospects to that website where they can make a buying decision.

There are many ways in which you as a marketer can drive these targeted prospects to a website to make a buying decision. One of the best ways is through pay per click (PPC) advertising. PPC advertising allows for your ad to appear when people do a search containing specific keywords in a search engine. Another way to drive traffic is through search engine optimization (SEO). This is a free method in which people generate organic traffic. Other traffic generation methods include, article marketing, social book marking, forum posting/advertising, and classified ad submissions to name a few. I'm not going to get into detail about these various traffic generating methods. I just want you to realize that there are numerous means by which marketers generate traffic to their sites and give qualified prospects the opportunity to make a buying decision.

Something that determines how well a product sells is the quality of the website sales copy from which the prospect makes their decision on weather or not to buy. If you are promoting other peoples products from their sites you will not have much control of this. When you promote other people products or your own products from your own sites you have more control over the sales copy. There are many good resources available that discuss how to write good sales copy that converts your targeted visitors into sales.

The overall objective of people in a home based internet business and internet marketing is to drive targeted qualified prospects to a website, from which the prospect can make a buying decision. There are many different methods a marketer can use to drive this traffic (PPC, SEO, article marketing, ect.) and there are many good programs and resources available on how to use these marketing mediums effectively. When the marketer is able to get the prospect to the site, this is where they make a buying decision (often based on the quality of the sales copy). Again there are many good programs out there that discuss writing good copy.

Part of the reason I feel new marketers become so confused is that there is so much information on the above mentioned topics and it's easy to lose sight of how it all fits into the big picture. This is the big picture: Drive targeted traffic to a website where a prospect can buy and you get paid. There is a lot that goes into this and this is why there is so much information. Realize that all the information that is out there is geared at accomplishing the above stated objective in some way, shape, or form. When you can grasp the concept of what internet marketing is all about, you can begin to realize how all the parts that help you accomplish the primary objective (getting targeted visitors to a site where they buy) are intertwined.

An Overview of Gauher Chaudry's "The Pay Per Click Formula"

What is "The Pay Per Click Formula"?

Gauher Chaudhry's "The Pay Per Click Formula" is a home study course which teaches PPC marketers how to profit online by driving pay per click traffic to CPA lead offers, otherwise known as PPC to CPA marketing. This is a fairly new business model that very few online marketers know about, and even less are practicing. But as word spreads about The Pay Per Click Formula (and PPC to CPA marketing in general), I believe that more and more internet marketers will include this type of marketing into their business plans.

Is Gauher Chaudhry's "The Pay Per Click Formula" For Everybody?

In a word, no. While The Pay Per Click Formula does cover the basics of opening various PPC search engine accounts and how to sign up with CPA networks, I would say that this home study course is probably better left for those marketers who have had at least a few months of experience with pay per click advertising and how to build basic html landing pages. My advice is to have elementary knowledge of

-how to write ads

-how to manage adgroups

-how to append subid's to your affiliate links

-how to track revenue versus adspend

-how to code html or use an html editor

In addition, you should be aware of the time you need to invest to get your traffic brokering business up and running. There is a learning curve involved, and you definitely wouldn't want the 60-day guarantee to expire before you even get your hands dirty.

HOWEVER…

If you DO have a bit of pay per click advertising experience under your belt and are interested in learning how Gauher Chaudhry made $159,000 in affiliate commissions in just one month, this course could be of great benefit. I personally was able to expand my knowledge of PPC marketing as well as get that little push I needed to easily overcome the rather intimidating learning curve. The course includes:

-6 training manuals

-6 CD's to accompany the manuals

-2 DVD's which contain footage of Gauher Chaudhry teaching his course at a seminar

In addition, weekly teleseminars are held where users have the opportunity to ask Gauher Chaudhry about any aspect of the course. Gauher is very personable, honest, and straight-forward. And he is more than happy to answer any and all questions posed to him, which really says something about his faith that his course works. There aren't many internet marketing gurus will actually go online and field live questions from their customers.

In my opinion, The Pay Per Click Formula is a great introduction to PPC to CPA marketing. With so little information online about this monetization model, it was a welcome offering from an honest person who knows the business inside and out.

I hope this short overview gave you a bit more insight into the program, and helped answer any questions you may have had about The Pay Per Click Formula.

Goal Oriented Traffic - 5 Customer Management Tips That Promote Goal Oriented Traffic Generation

How do the Marketing Gurus convince their readers to buy their products? Everybody I've talked to recently wants the answer to that question, and it's really quite simple. I'm going to tell you how to generate goal oriented traffic.

1. Get the traffic to your site.

Article Marketing offers a perfect method of bringing targeted traffic to your site. By giving your readers information about what you do in a marketing format and offering them solutions for their problems, you've created a need for more information, and implied that you have their solutions.

Give them a link to find the answers.

2. Present yourself as an Expert

Article Marketing provides your readers some insight into your expertise and knowledge about what you are all about. Give them information about your expertise and share the solutions they need for their problems. When you let them in on the fact that you understand their needs, and give them valuable solutions, they understand your expertise.

Tell them you're an expert.

3. Connect with your Reader

Article Marketing creates an intimate relationship with your reader. While you may not have met them yet, you understood their problem, suggested a solution, and offered them options to solve their problem. Your ability to interact with your reader integrates your knowledge into the reader's life. By becoming involved in your reader's life or business, they accept you as a 'friend' online.

Create an intimate relationship with your reader.

4. Show your reader where to Find Information

Article Marketing can be a really big hairy place to hang out, and you can get lost very easily. If you're knowledgeable about a topic, you obviously have resources online that provide answers for you, and you're always willing to share those with your readers. Provide links and information in your articles, on your blog, and in your website for your readers benefits.

Tell your reader where to go.

5. Give specific easy-to-follow directions

Article Marketing gives explicit directions for finding information and showing your customers what to do to accomplish their goals. Your Affiliate Marketing Success Depends on These 3 Steps

Picture this: You are a new affiliate marketer. You send affiliate links to everyone in your email address book - friends, family, business contacts, even casual acquaintances you met recently. You get a few sales, you see a few hundred dollars in your affiliate commissions account. Impressed? Suddenly, the sales come to a complete grinding halt. Zero sales. You feel completely dejected. Now what? Here are three things to look at to ensure your affiliate marketing longevity.

  • Profile Your Prospects
The main reason most new affiliate marketers fail is because they have no idea who they are selling their products to.

If you intend to be in affiliate marketing for the long haul, you need to exercise long-term planning to ensure your success. It cannot be an arbitrary mass email (or spam mailing) exercise.

This means you need to invest time and effort to understand your market and your website visitor demographics. Information such as their age, sex location, hobbies occupation income level, will give you an idea of their likes and dislikes, giving you invaluable insight for the next step of the process.

  • Profile Your Products and Services
People go onto the Internet to look for information to solve problems they are facing.

An example: a man in his 40s who is facing the prospect of premature baldness will be looking for information on how to reduce hair loss and possibly reverse this potentially embarrassing problem he is facing.

Premature balding is a major issue faced by many men, if you are able to provide the appropriate product or service to solve their problems, you will be virtually guaranteed a sale.As a side-effect, you will benefit financially as well.

Timing is also a key factor in affiliate marketing. The more urgent the need, the more is price insensitive people tend to be.

Here is an example:

On a rainy day, people were being willing to pay more for an umbrella to shield them from getting wet, compared to a dry day.

When natural disasters, such as a hurricane or tornado is about to hit an area, people will be willing to pay more for water, food and emergency supplies, compared to normal circumstances.
